Kennebunk Savings and Chamber Members Donate to Community Harvest
Kennebunk, Maine – 12/16/2009At its recent Business After Hours event in Kennebunk, Kennebunk Savings asked its guests to contribute to Community Harvest, in lieu of the 50-50 raffle the Chamber usually presents.  Guests raised $525 for the local food pantry and contributed a number of bags of food which will be put to good use.  Community Harvest Executive Director, Kerry de Bree, picked up the check with Board member, Eva Barnfather.  “We are thrilled to be the recipients of so much goodwill.  Thank you to everyone who contributed!”  President and CEO, Brad Paige, presented the check and the food to the Community Harvest group, “We’re glad to help lend a hand and make a difference, knowing how vital every dollar is to the local food pantries, especially at this time of year.”
